If there was one question we’ve been asked more than the rest it’s “Why Giraffes”?

First of all - everyone likes giraffes. Second of all, everyone would benefit from more gratitude.

When you combine them - well that’s where the magic happens :)

A Giraffe has its head in the clouds & feet on the ground which in our world means a dreamer who gets shit done!

Giraffes have the largest heart of any land mammal. A Grateful Giraffe embodies heart-centered leadership by making decisions and taking actions based on empathy and intuition, guided by love. Leading with one’s heart does not mean ignoring practical considerations or making impulsive decisions, but finding balance between the intellectual & emotional. 

Giraffes have the longest neck of any animal. Grateful Giraffes are willing to ‘stick their necks out for others’, going above and beyond to help others not when it's convenient or with ulterior motives but out of love. They are willing to take risks and make sacrifices for the benefit of the group, demonstrating by action and words a strong sense of solidarity.

Giraffes can go up to 21 days without drinking water, longer than camels, and any other animal on earth. Grateful Giraffes resist the cultural pressure to overconsume and waste resources, looking for ways to live more sustainably and stay conscious of their carbon footprint.

Giraffes are peaceful plant eaters. While many community members eat meat, Grateful Giraffes strive to maintain a healthy diet and follow sustainable eating practices. Choosing organic, avoiding palm oil based products, and overall leading an active lifestyle. We encourage vegetarian and vegan options at our gatherings & dinners to satisfy all dietary needs.

We charge a 1-time fee of $720 (with installment plans up to 12 months). This fee is reinvested by Grateful Labs into developing experiences, services, and products that foster human connection & elevate collective well-being.

Our signature event is an Evening of Gratitude, an intentional potluck dinner party that weaves together spiritual, yet grounded rituals with delicious food to leave attendees feeling more deeply connected.

We’ve hosted more than 300 events since beginning this journey, including brunches, workshops, biohacking safaris, fireside chats, hikes, parties, and mini-festivals.

Our community is home to many producers, facilitators, leaders, and experts, giving us the privilege of co-creating events with different members on a weekly basis.

Grateful Labs is a community-owned, profit-for-purpose, C Corp that develops and distributes products, services, and experiences dedicated to human flourishing.

Grateful Labs owns the licensing rights of Grateful Giraffe IP, grants equity to Grateful Giraffes in exchange for their contributions, and grants licenses to members who want to build offerings with the Grateful Giraffe brand.

Since we only charge a 1-time fee for life, the value of being a Giraffe is based primarily on members gifting time, space, knowledge, skills, and experiences to one another.

We use a combination of email, Whatsapp, SMS, Luma, and Circle to manage our communication to members. Once you join you can decide which channels work best for you!
